Approximately 15,000 persons from across the 42 countries that comprise the Inter-American Division (IAD) of Seventh-day Adventists are preparing to attend the Fifth International Pathfinder Camporee, in the Trelawny Multipurpose Stadium, in Jamaica, from April 4-8, 2023. The Theme is – “Pathfinders in Mission!”
From the Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (Conference), we have a delegation of 87 persons officially registered to attend this unique and life-changing experience. We will join hundreds more from the North and South Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Conferences to represent the Atlantic Caribbean Union, one of 24 Unions across the IAD.
We know by God’s grace that this Camporee will serve as an exceptional opportunity for building character in the lives of the Pathfinders and Master Guides as well as modelling how to address the needs of their community through leadership, service and mission. The Camporee will offer various activities geared towards physical, social, mental, and spiritual development.
We ask for your prayers for travelling mercies, protection and God’s richest blessings as the group gets ready to travel to Jamaica from April 3 till April 9.
If anyone desires to assist financially in any way to help one of our Pathfinders attend this amazing experience, please feel free to contact Pastor Carlon Nyack, Youth Director of the Conference, at carlon.nyack@cicsda.org or 1 345-326-6070 or Assistant Youth Director, Merle Watkins at merle.answer@gov.ky or 1 345-925-2608, or speak with your local Pathfinder Director. (If additional information is needed, please do not hesitate to ask the Youth Director or the Assistant Youth Director.)
May God continue to bless our young people as we get ready for Camporee 2023 – Pathfinders in Mission!
