And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)
Faith is just as important as the air we breathe. It is the foundation of our existence. Faith, at its core, is also deep-rooted in the expectation of good things to come.
Why is faith important? When life throws challenges at us, faith is the knowledge, deep down inside, that things are going to be okay and it will get better. Faith is taking the next step even though you may not know where you are going. Faith is essential to having hope and moving forward in life!
You want to move mountains? You need to have faith. (Mat 17:20)
Do you want victory to overcome the world? Faith is the victory. (1 John 5:4) Why is faith important? says Heb 11:6 NLT “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Without Faith, it is impossible to please God.
How do we get faith? Romans 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” That is why we need to study the Word of God every day so our faith can increase. Faith brings Salvation. We are saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus (Eph 2:8).
By faith, we need to believe that God exists. Look at one of the rewards for sincerely seeking Him. Jeremiah 29:12-13 says this: “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”
When you sincerely seek God in His Word, you will find Him, your faith will grow and the ultimate reward is eternal life through Jesus Our Lord, when you meet Jesus! Your life will never be the same again. Check out all of the Heroes of Faith in Hebrews 11, the faith chapter! Their lives were changed because they trusted, obeyed and had faith in God and what He said.
Why is Faith Important? Faith keeps our hope alive. Faith keeps us trusting in Jesus even when life doesn’t make sense. Faith can help you move your mountains. Faith helps us please God! Faith in Jesus brings Salvation and eternal life. How many want their faith in God to grow today?
Prayer: Father, sometimes we don’t always believe and have faith in you. Help our unbelief. I pray today for someone who may be struggling with their faith in you today. So plant some faith in someone’s life right now in Jesus’ name. Amen.
