The Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists proudly announces the return of a son of the soil, Pastor Andrew Campbell and his family, to join the Ministerial Department of the conference in October 2019. Presently he is the Assistant Pastor for the Seventh-day Adventist Church, West Bay.
He is the son of Christopher and Daphine Campbell. Born and raised in the Cayman Islands, to be more exact, he grew up in the districts of George Town and West Bay. He excelled in High School, and like many young persons, he went overseas to further his education. He completed his Bachelor’s in Religion in 2010 and his Master of Divinity in 2013 at Andrews University, Michigan, USA.
Pastor Campbell was joined in marriage to the beautiful Anneli Campbell (nee Sigvartsen) of Drammen, Norway, on the 19th July 2012. Together they have two lovely girls, Lillian and Eliana, aged four and two respectively.
He served as pastor for over six years, in Norway, with an emphasis in Youth Ministry, before returning home. Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and playing a variety of sports. His passion is sharing the good news of salvation that comes to us freely through our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
On Saturday afternoon, 12th October, in a joint service celebrating 125 years since the Adventist Church was established in the Cayman Islands, the President of the Conference, Pastor Reinaldo Dracket, officially introduced Pastor Campbell and his family to the congregation. In his response, he said: ‘It’s really good to be home’.
