Members of the Inter-American Division (IAD) Executive Committee voted to fill several leadership positions that remained pending following the 62nd General Conference Session held in July 2025.
More than 150 committee members approved new leaders during day two of the IAD’s annual business meetings in Miami, Florida, United States.
Two territories of particular interest to the Cayman Islands—the Atlantic Caribbean Union and the Belize Union—confirmed new administrative teams.
In the Atlantic Caribbean Union, the leadership now includes Kent Price, president; Cheryl Rolle, secretary; and Roderick Sands, treasurer.

In the Belize Union, the leadership team comprises Al Powell, president; Luis Rolando Jesse, secretary; and Maxine Bodeen De Valiente, treasurer.
Pastor Al Powell, born and raised in the Cayman Islands, previously served the Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists for several years before his appointment to the Inter-American Division.
The Cayman Islands Conference extended congratulations to the newly elected leaders and expressed prayers for divine guidance as they assume their responsibilities in leading the church.
