Demonstrating that the message of salvation is given to all believers to share, Elder Joshua Lawrence recently presented the series “God’s Final Call,” during which 20 persons decided to follow Jesus.
Elder Lawrence’s series, which was held at Ephesus Seventh-day Adventist Church in August this year, is part of the Cayman Islands Conference’s initiative to invite local lay preachers (persons who are not ordained as pastors) to participate in evangelistic efforts in Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac for the rest of 2019.
Under the leadership of the conference’s Pastor Kevin Danvers, these efforts support the Atlantic Caribbean Union and the Inter-American Division in maximizing the “Lord Transform Me” (LTM) initiative. LTM involves motivating every church member to pursue a transformation in Jesus through daily Bible study and a prayerful lifestyle, in order to become more involved in sharing the gospel within their communities.
“We praise God for the souls rescued for the kingdom of God,” said Conference President and Pastor Reinaldo Dracket.
Pastor Dracket thanked Elder Lawrence, Pastor Danvers, and also Pastor Vaughan Henry and Ephesus members for organizing this series, and for giving a local layperson the opportunity to preach God’s word.
