Global Youth Day Announcement March 2022

Young people from our local churches across the Cayman Islands will participate in Global Youth Day (GYD) on Saturday, March 19, attending worship services and serving their communities alongside Adventists worldwide.

Each year the aim is to allow Youth to impact the islands by “being the sermon.” The Youth will conduct this year’s activities using the theme “Loving the Forgotten.” This year, the main impact areas will be Prospect, Red Bay, and Cayman Brac.

This year’s activities will include prayer walks, which see young people praying for community members at their homes or on the street. There will also be a prayer drive-through, which will see young people praying for persons driving by. Another activity is the distribution of Fosters gift cards to select families in need.

Global Youth Day is for ANYONE anywhere in the Cayman Islands between 15 – 35 years old. To participate, contact the Seventh-day Adventist Church nearest to you, and for more information, you can contact our Youth Director, Pastor Carlon Nyack. https://caymanadventist.org/pastors/
