The “Christ for the Crisis” Evangelistic Series, as well as the “Welcome to the Joy” Prophecy Panorama Series, recently concluded at the Kings and Creek Seventh-day Adventist Churches in the Cayman Islands. These campaigns were part of a wider evangelistic effort across the entire Atlantic Caribbean Union.
Pastor Everett Brown, President of the Jamaica Union, delivered messages to the congregation in Grand Cayman, while in Cayman Brac, the evangelistic efforts were led by Dr. Carson Green, President of the South Leeward Conference. Pastor Denton McKogg and his team facilitated the series in Cayman Brac.
“Dr. Greene, under that anointing of the Holy Spirit, presented the Word with power, clarity and authority. It blessed the Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church and the Cayman Brac Community.” Shared Pastor McKogg, Pastor of the Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Reports from the Cayman Islands Conference indicate a significant response to the meetings, culminating in 71 baptisms across the two locations. Among the baptisms were two couples deciding to be married and baptized. Three elders—Norman Battick, Joshua Lawrence, and Ken Thomas—worked individually with candidates and were allowed to participate in the Baptismal Exercise with Pastors.
“Pastor Everett Brown was under the sweet anointing of the Holy Ghost. He employed me as a pastor of the Central Jamaica Conference, and I spent 15 years in that conference. I’ve never seen this man under the element that I saw him in this series. He was burning on 100 cylinders.” Shared Pastor Kevin Danvers, Personal Ministries Director of the Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Among the highlights of the series was the dedication of Bible instructors and church members who worked closely with attendees. Three Bible instructors from the George Town Church who were recently trained by the Personal Ministries Department of the Conference participated in the Series. One Bible instructor, Brother Rickman Spence, took four weeks of vacation to participate in the series. His efforts, along with those of other church leaders, members and Bible instructors, contributed to the series’ outcome.
The evangelistic series underscored the commitment of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Cayman Islands to outreach and spiritual growth. Church leaders and members remain encouraged by the response and look forward to continued efforts to spread the gospel.
