Ebenezer Church Visits Cayman Brac for Leaders Retreat

The Board members of the Ebenezer Seventh-day Adventist Church travelled to Cayman Brac for a Leaders retreat on the weekend of January 21, 2023, to make plans for the church for the years 2023 and 2024.

Led by Dr Shion O’Connor, pastor, the group also took time out to visit the Faith Hospital in Cayman Brac, where they also brought gifts for the Staff.
Each board member was invited to bring a sacrificial gift combined and assembled by the Stewardship Director, Elder Sharon Thompson and presented to the Staff. As part of a designated mission activity, “A gift and a prayer” presentations were made by Elder Wrendon Timothy, and prayers were offered By Elders O’Neil and Sashoy Duncan.

The purpose of the trip was to plan strategically and cohesively for the Ebenezer Church and its ministries for the 2023-2024 fiscal years. The delegation from Ebenezer also put on the Divine Service program at the Creek Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sabbath (Saturday), January 21, and took time to fellowship with the brethren over lunch.

The Ebenezer Church would like to thank Elder Neila Jones from the Creek Church, who was vital in helping the team coordinate the weekend activities, and Pastor Maurice Chambers and the Creek members for their hospitality.
