SABBATH SCHOOL TRAINING

Mrs. Nelda Rose Dracket, Sabbath School Director for our conference, is extending a cordial invitation to all Sabbath School Officers and teachers to the first Sabbath School module training session for the year 2020.   This training will be held on Sunday, February 16 at the Filadelfia Adventist Church (42 Rosemary St, off Marina Dr., Prospect), from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon.   Please make every effort to attend.

CHILDREN & ADOLESCENT MINISTRIES MEETING

All Children and Adolescent Ministries Leaders are reminded of our meeting at Cayman Academy, 3:00pm in the Grade 4 Classroom, on Saturday, 8 February 2020. The meeting will begin at 3pm sharp.

ADVENTIST RECOVERY TRAINING

The Health Ministries Department conducted a Training in October 2019, for Facilitators (Phase 1). The program has two phases: Phase 1 was “Learning and Understanding About the Program” and Phase 2 has to do with “Working the Program” (Gaining Experience).  We invite interested persons who wish to facilitate or assist in facilitating a Group Meeting in your Church or District, to please Message 924-0162 for further information.

The Cayman Islands Conference Music department invites all choir directors, members, praise teams, praise leaders, singers and musicians to register for a music workshop weekend titled: Worship on the front-line. To be held at the Kings Adventist Church Friday Feb 28 – Sunday March 1, 2020 With presenters Cecile Boyd and Claudia Brown.

This year our annual Global Youth Day, which allows our youth to be the sermon will happen on Saturday, March 21, 2020. The theme this year is Icare, specifically targeting refugees, the homeless and strangers. East End will be our point of impact so save the date!

66 YEARS OF PATHFINDER MINISTRY

2020 marks 70 Years of Pathfindering globally and 66 years for the Cayman Islands.  The West Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church LightBearers Club will be celebrating this milestone from Friday, 21 February to Sabbath, 29 February 2020 with a variety of activities:

FILADELFIA CHURCH CAMPAIGN

NCU-ACKy SECOND SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE

A second NCU ACKy scholarship, tenable at NCU beginning fall 2020, is available. Deadline for scholarship application is May 29, 2020.
