The Cayman Islands Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), a registered non-profit organization (NPO) in the Cayman Islands, organized its second Disaster Relief Walk/Run event, “Take Me to the Water 2”. The event saw a remarkable turnout of over 200 walkers and runners who took strides along the scenic route from 7 Mile Public Beach to Marriott Hotel West Bay Road and back to the starting point.
The primary objective of this event was to raise funds to assist individuals within the community and contribute to disaster relief efforts. ADRA has been a prominent presence in the Cayman Islands since 1998, and it plays an integral role in the Cayman Islands Government Hazard Management Disaster Relief Team.
ADRA extends its heartfelt appreciation to the generous sponsors and supporters who made this event possible, including Cost Uless, Cox Lumber, Fosters Supermarket, Grace Kennedy, KLAS Equipment, the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority, the Cayman Islands Red Cross, the Royal Cayman Islands Police (RCIP), and the Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh Day Adventist.
The success of the event was also made possible by the enthusiastic participation of all attendees and dedicated volunteers. Their collective effort contributed to the event’s triumph.
If you wish to support ADRA’s ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of the local community and contributing to disaster relief, you can make checks payable to ADRA at RBC Royal Bank Cayman (Limited), Account No. 500 6234.
